3 Corns
400ml Water
Olive Oil for brushing
Salt & grounded black Pepper as per taste
2 Lemons, each cut into half and deseeded
1 1/2 tsp red Chili powder
1/4 tsp Chaat masala
2 pinches of black Salt (optional)
Method:
- Wash the Corns under running water and pat them dry.
- Brush the corns with little Olive oil each and smear some salt on each of them.
- Cut the corn into halves or quarters (easier for the kids to eat).
- Place them in a cooker vessel WITHOUT any water in it.
- Pour Water (400ml) in the pressure cooker and place the vessel with corn in the pressure cooker.
- Close the cooker and turn the flame to high and let it stand for 3-4 whistles.
- Turn off the hob and let it cool.
- On cooling remove the corn and apply half or as per taste juice of lemon on each corn piece.
- Mix the remaining dry ingredients (red chili, pepper, black salt & chaat masala) and smear little of it on each corn.
- Adjust the taste as per your needs and enjoy while its steaming hot!
